We were given the task of performing a usability analysis of the account management system at Indiana University.

For the user testing part of this analysis we used Camtasia and a web cam to record how the user performed on tasks we created based on the function of the site. This was the first usability test for anyone on our team.

After the user testing we were asked to perform a heuristic evaluation and compare it to our usability testing results. The results of these tests were passed along to University Information Technology Services.

Between the user testing and the heuristic evaluation we found a decent number of problems. Some of them have been fixed now.
