Welcome

I have had a lot going on recently. Today I received my second internship offer, interviewed with two more companies and turned down one internship. I am really flattered be being pursued by so many companies. One of the companies seems to be stepping up their process since they now know I have an offer on the table.

On the other hand my brother left for Iraq today. When I talked to my mom this afternoon and she told me he called her before he got on the plane. We thought he was leaving tomorrow but maybe he wasn't sure or maybe they were running on Iraq time.

It is sort of a strange feeling. This is my only sibling. I think it makes my mom feel good that I have so many good things going on right now so I think that helps. Plus we are looking forward to our trip to San Francisco at the beginning of May.

I know having him over there will make me more conscious of what is going on in Iraq.
